Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Information Systems, the System Administrator contributes to Crombie REIT’s success by supporting the management and administration of Crombie’s ERP systems and processes,  including but not limited to the management and maintenance of multiple user setups, roles and permissions, resolving technical conflicts/issues, and performing quality assurance.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the preparation and management of the software testing process, which includes devising test plans, helping to create test cases and establishing protocols. Additionally you will provide oversight to projects to implement, test and design in  ERP/HCM systems and application enhancements, while working to monitor and maintain all system securities. You will review key development and design deliverables, including interface specifications, integration requirements, data schemas, design documentation, as well as the business's implementation and conversion strategies and plans.

Acting with a sense of urgency, the System Administrator will monitor high-availability and acceptable levels of performance on ERP/HCM systems and ensure that proper log and track identified system problems are recorded and monitored; You will work to create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help create materials for users, as well as provide technical support and training to end users ensuring application operators are informed about system functionality and enhancements.

The profile we are looking for

Our ideal candidate would have three to five years previous experience with working in a Cloud based environment, as well as a strong working knowledge of analysis and reporting tools, be proficient with Excel formulas & functions, and have a solid understanding of reporting requirements and report writing software. A post-secondary education in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems or other related filed is required. Professionalism and superior communication skills, both verbally and written, are a must.   The successful candidate must be able to develop and build upon existing relationships both internally and externally in order to understand organizational needs. Previous Business Intelligence and SQL experience is an asset, experience in working with YARDI Voyager and/or Oracle HCM is a plus.
